Out-of-This-World Library No library card is necessary to access NASA’s Image and Video Library website (images.nasa.gov), a comprehensive consolidated database of space images, videos, and audio files from more than 60 different collections created in the six decades of the space agency’s existence. The site allows users to search, discover, and download a treasure trove of more than 140,000 NASA multimedia files from across the agency’s many missions in aeronautics, astrophysics, Earth science, human spaceflight, planetary exploration, and more. The collection is growing every day, and it has a powerful search feature that lets you get very specific, or wander through the virtual stacks. Search for “Saturn” and you’ll find (among others) this Hubble montage of Saturn taken between 1996 and 2001.
